Navratilova won 18 Grand Slam singles titles, 31 major women's doubles titles (an all-time record), and 10 major mixed doubles titles. Winnie the Pooh Day

C’mon, you all know Winnie the Pooh, the adorable bear we’ve all come to know and love. Although a “silly old bear”, Pooh is loved by kiddies and grown-ups alike. This cute honey-loving bear, stuffed with fluff, loves nothing better than a lick of honey when he’s rumbly in his tummy.

Today is “ Winnie the Pooh Day”, which celebrates the birthday of Alan Alexander Milne, author of the classic Pooh stories. A. A. Milne was born on 18th January, 1882, and raised in London town.

On Pooh’s honey-searching adventures through the Hundred Acre Woods, the “bear of little brain” is usually accompanied by his friends, Roo, Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, Rabbit, Kanga, Christopher Robin and Owl. First published in 1926, this beloved collection of stories was inspired by the teddy bear of author A. A. Milne’s son, Christopher Robin, who himself became one of the story’s main characters.
