A Rugby Newspaper History of Leeds Rhinos
- Gift Details
This Leeds Rhinos rugby book is a great way for fans to relive all of the club’s finest moments since 1932. It uses reprinted reports from the Daily Mirror to create a fabulous reportage history that starts with the side’s 11-8 Challenge Cup win over Swinton.
Further victories in the same competition throughout the 30s, 50s, 60s, 70s and 90s all feature, before the club’s fortunes really pick up in the new millennium. 2000 saw yet another Challenge Cup title, this time with victory over Wigan, while 2003 and 2005 saw two more Cup wins over Bradford and Hull, respectively.
Aside from cup competitions, the book is peppered throughout with plenty of other big wins. There’s also lots more in the way of standout wins from the last three years that continues to the present day.
