- Gift Details
Have you ever wondered why we take the matter of our homes so seriously? Well, the personalised Haynes Explains "The Home" manual is here to help anyone understand how wrong you can go with a paintbrush, a spanner and a hammer. Yes, the iconic car manufacturers now tackle “The Home” model, explaining with great jest why “We are as a nation obsessed with the home”.
Based on the iconic ‘strip down and rebuild’ car guidebooks, our Haynes Explains "The Home" manual contains everything you’d expect from a typical handbook. Featuring illustrated diagrams on passengers like 'The Spoilt Brat' and 'The Slob' to expert advice on ‘The Car Next Door’, the book explains the types of neighbours and children one may have a hazardous interaction with, including expert advice on DIY and how to avoid it.
The manual is the perfect comedy spoof to give to anyone who takes their home a bit too seriously. You can even have their Name featured on the cover and along the top of each page to really hone in the importance of the book. Or if the recipient is a first-time buyer or attempting to move out of their parent’s house, you can add a special Message to the opening page about how living with their parents for the rest of their lives probably isn’t too shabby an idea, all thanks to this book.
You can personalise your Haynes Manual with the recipient’s Name of up to 12 characters over 1 line, which will feature on the cover and along the top of each page of the book.
Include a Message of up to 80 characters over 2 lines which will appear on the opening title page.
The Personalised Haynes Explains "The Home" Manual is available in hardback and measures 20.2 x 15.1 x 0.8cm. Your text will be printed exactly as you have entered it so please double check spelling, punctuation and capitalisation. Accents and other symbols cannot be printed unless stated.
