RAF 100th Anniversary Photo Book
- Gift Details
Celebrating nearly a centuries’ worth of history, the RAF Centenary Celebration Book commemorates the 100-year anniversary of the British Royal Air Force. Beginning with the inauguration on April 1st 1918, the book features special pictorial sections, including rarely-seen content on the Battle of Britain from 1940, right up to the present day.
Including coverage on the most memorable moments in R.A.F history, the book pays homage to the men and women whose strategical intelligence and operational fleet have played an integral role in the British Military Force. The special pictorial features are collected from the newspaper archive, much of which has never been seen and is now released only in honour of this edition.
The Personalised RAF Newspaper Pictorial Book itself is printed on the highest quality gsm paper, with reports from 2006 onwards printed in colour where available. This makes the later reports even more fascinating to their earlier counterparts and the book itself is bound in leather. Personalised with a Name and a Message on the opening page, the book is the no.1 keepsake to commemorate the 100th R.A.F anniversary.
This RAF Anniversary Book - Newspaper Edition can be personalised with who the book is Presented To (of up to 22 characters over 1 line) and a Message (of up to 150 characters over 5 lines) which will appear on the opening page.
You can also have any Name to be Embossed (of up to 22 characters over 1 line) on the cover of the book.
The RAF 100th Anniversary Pictorial Book is tabloid size and measures 31 x 38cm, presented inside a unique gift box. Individually bound in a hardback leather cover with foil embossing.
